Aspex of Design seeks to understand the subtle nuances of the site. The design process involves extensive research and site analysis to give an understanding of the uniqueness of each site historically, culturally and socially. This sense of 'place' is the inspiration behind each site-specific design.
We use model making as a design tool, to understand the spatial experience and to test the design concepts with rigour and intensity.
We often propose artworks and sculptures or collaborate with artists to develop pieces that reinforce the overall design concept. These meaningful artworks enrich each project and help create memorable and meaningful places for people to discover.

Hannah James has nearly 15 years experience with resort and condominium design throughout Asia. She was previously the Design Director at the award winning Okashimo Pte Ltd and she has worked with many luxury brands including Jumeirah, Pullman, Luxury Collection, Wheelock Properties and Selangor Dredging Berhad (SDB). Hannah has a Bachelor of Architectural Science and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Hons).
